Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)
CMAT is a computer based online test conducted on national level by the AICTE which allows institutions to select suitable students for admission in all MBA programs approved by AICTE.AICTE launched CMAT to reduce the physical, mental and financial stress of students in attending to multiple such entrance exams.AICTE has decided to hold the exam once a year on the third Sunday of January. CMAT is a three-hour test conducted at 61 locations all across the country.
CMAT Eligibility
As per AICTE guidelines every Indian Citizen who have a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institution with 50% marks & are interested to take the exams are eligible.
Appearing candidates can also apply.
There is no upper age limit to apply & appear in the exams.
CMAT Exam Syllabus & Pattern:
Quantitative Technique (QT)
Logical Reasoning (LR)
Language Comprehension (LC) & General Knowledge (GK)
Every section will have 25 questions. Each correct answer will be adjudged four marks while each wrong answer will carry 1 negative marking.
