ADMISSION PROCESS
The CAT results throughout the admission process play an important role. Along with CAT scores work experience and earlier academic performance are other important criteria for admission. The shortlisted candidate from IIM for the second stage of selection is independent for each other. The process consists of the following:
Written Ability Test (WAT),
Group Discussions (GD) and
Personal Interviews (PI).
IIMs do use some of the other criteria like previous academic performance of the candidates, and relevant work experience while short listing and ranking the candidates at various stages of the admission process.
